Above is the link to a thread i did with pictures if you want to get a better idea of it bottom pictures are most recent0 -
These are some the responses you got in yesterday's thread...
Continue to lose weight and it will improve a little I'd think. What has helped me with my tummy has been lifting heavy weights, eating at a moderate deficit and aiming to eat more protein. Heavy lifting is by far the thing that I believe has helped the most with my stomach area.
Check out the pinned thread at the top of this forum - So you want a nice stomach - by usmcmp, its absolutely helped meI've heard lifting is the best for the extra skin ...im a little lacking on the money front so I'm hoping next summer (and hopefully around my goal weight of around 120lbs) I will have enough money to join a gym and get a trainer to show me how to do this properly!
As you loose fat, some of that will go down, but you can't spot reduce. If not already, I would add strength training.
Look into a progressive lifting programme like New Rules of Lifting for Women or Stronglifts or Starting Strength0 -
Ive taken all those into account just looking at other options because ive also heard a lot of mat exercises work just dont know what ones0

I've been getting great results with exercises from the book "You are your own gym". There is a good variety of body weight exercises that can be done with no special equipment.0

I am sorry but most of this is total bs. Lifting very heavy and getting to very low body fat % will not fix lose skin if you have it. I know because i have a flabby guy with my nice 6 pack(ok maybe not so nice but it is there), yeah you can get both.
Now I am not saying you will end up like me or that you shouldn't get to a low body fat % or lift heavy. Just keep your goals hard set but keep your expectations flexible.0 -

I don't think any comment that I made said lifting would completely "fix" loose skin. I don't think I promised rainbows and unicorn farts if the OP picked up a barbell. I said that it had helped with my stomach area. And it has, so how is that BS? Usmcmp's post also really helped me. I didn't realise I needed to post photos of my loose skin to make my point.0 -
... can we have some of them unicorn farts tho?!?!0

It is bs because lifting makes you "look better" if you have loose skin or not. Just because you look better doesnt mean it did anything for the skin, just the muscle under it. Some people will never have the problem, but most people that lose a large amount will and there is nothing they can do about it other then surgery.
Also you do need to post pics of your skin to prove your point. You know the old saying pics or it didn't happen.0 -

Nope, still not what I said at all.0 -
I do think that there can be an issue with skin that is simply loose, without much in the way of fat under it. But if it makes you feel any better, the younger you are, the better luck you will have in terms of your skin "snapping back." I am in my 40's and my stomach got very stretched by three huge pregnancies. I know that I will probably never have a perfectly smooth belly, again. There will probably always be at least wrinkles (I have heard that postpartum tummy tucks look great standing up, but when they bend over the skin shrivels again because the skin is now stretched.) So, I will probably never rock a bikini, again. But I think being young should help you in that regard and if you continue to lose body fat, you will lose most of that stuff hanging over your panties.0
