I went really hard in the gym this week to try & make up for not being in the gym regularly because I had back to back vacations. I even upped my weight on some machines. Now I am paying for it. My entire body feel like a giant bruise. Any suggestions on how to soothe the pain? Do those muscle recovery teas help at all? I just want to lay in bed & not move for a few days....

Go for a swim, or do some yoga, you'll get back in it.0

funny, i said the exact same thing last night.
went harder than usual this week.
best advice i can give you is to stay mobile!
i know you wanna curl up and not move, but move....stretch....walk....squat....bend...
the more you do it, the better youll feel.
gotta get through it so you can smash next week too, right?0 -

I kow it's the last thing you want to hear but you have to keep moving. Stretching helps tremendously, the foam roller is your friend. I notice when I am sore and I stay still for long periods of time (at my desk at work) when I get up to move it is horrible. After I'm up and I walk around a bit I feel much better. Oh and the person that said epsom salt bath is dead on. Hope you feel better soon. :flowerforyou:0
