Slow-Cooker Swiss Chicken /5 ingredients

4 chicken breasts
8 slices thin cut Swiss cheese
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup italian flavored bread crumbs
1/2 cup butter melted

set the crock pot to 7 - 8 hours on low add chicken breasts lay the chicken on the bottom layer cheese over the chicken add can of soup and bread crumbs drizzle melted butter over bread crumbs cook n serve.

    Yes. It's not like you need to go by the recipe to a T, and can't deviate to your own liking.

    Agreed! I think I would add a bit of black pepper, garlic, and tarragon!

    I use to make this with cream of chicken since my boys won't eat mushroom. I made it in the oven though so the top got crunchy. I haven't made it in a while because of the cream of chicken, anyone have any alternatives?

    I found this recipe for homemade cream of chicken soup and it is so good. Its perfect to use in crockpot recipes as well. Its not to hard or time consuming to make and it taste really good. HTH!
