What a difference a lb makes

I set my weight loss goal originally at 2 lbs/week. MFP calculated 1200 net calories/day, which is doable but not very satisfying for me. I decided to take it down to 1lb/week and it increased to 1350 (before exercise). That is so much better for me. I am going to see how that goes. :)

MFP set my to 1200 too and that was for a 1 1/2 lb per week loss. I left it there. It's not satisfying to only eat 1200 calories so I just make sure I exercise everyday -- walking, gym, etc. -- to earn extra calories.

Great job...I think we have to listen to our bodies and do what it takes so we can do this long term. Good luck in your weight loss journey.

Thanks for bringing this up- I'm going to change my calorie intake asap...I seem to lose when the calorie restrictions are higher....and doable!
