3rd attempt

So..Im back...again.
Attempt 1: Lost 25lbs...then regained 35.
Attempt 2: Lost 100lbs...then regained 75.
This is attempt 3.
Attempt 1: failed because I relied too much on friends and others
Attempt 2: failed because I was too motivated by anger at myself, the world, etc.
And failure isn't, for me, defined as weight gain, but by not finding a sustainable lifestyle.
So for this third attempt I am looking for a basic, livable strategy. A lifestyle that is motivated but gracious, about becoming a better version of me, for me, but not selfishly. A path forward that is rooted in not being perfect but but avoiding the things i know that are killing me and robbing me of opportunities with my family, kids and life.
If you'd like to be part of this journey as a witness, encourager, motivator or even just a voyeur, friend me. Please.
I promise to encourage you. I plan to get back to running, first walking and later as i finish rehab for a knee injury...i plan to lift....i plan to eat 1500-2000 cals a day.
Let's do this...again

Congrats on recommitting. It's hard. Add me and we can do it together. I have about 50 ish pounds to lose, and running is one of my main exercises.
Anyone can feel free to add me for support. :flowerforyou:0 -
