Introduction

Hello,
My name is Silvia, I'm 26 years old and only just recently joined this site. Just decided to introduce myself and share my weight loss story. I hope I don't bore you guys too much lol

I have always kept an eye on my figure and used to be very active, playing sports and dancing. It's only when I became pregnant with my baby girl I started to pile on the weight and just before the day she was born I was about 62kg! O.O
I know a lot of that was her, the placenta etc, but I have never been so heavy in my entire life and that affected my self confidence.
Now, I am trying to loose all that pregnancy weight and get back my flat tummy. I hope this website can help me keep track of my progress and help me to once again feel good about myself.

Thank you for reading :D

Hi Silvia. I know about pregnancy weight..however my son is now 27 and I can't use that as an excuse. I am just under what I weighed when I was 9 months in. So..hats off to u for doing something about it...before it gets out of control. Are u a lesbian? If so...how did you go about getting pregnant?Do u have a partner? My partner and I raised my son together in the 90's. That was before there were books on lesbian parenting and before google. I am proud to say he has become a wonderful young man. Best wishes on ur weight loss.

Thanks all for the replies and encouragement. Binterla, no I am not a lesbian. I'm not sure what led you to believe it. I am straight and married.

But back on topic, so far I am finding the website very useful. I didn't realize that I was eating a bit more calories than I should and was wondering why the exercises didn't really help. But since I started to count my calorie intake I see weight coming down a lot faster.
