For the record, the author of this article is Renee Chloe...and she has a website:

    skwigg.com

It's been posted all over the internets, and her name is rarely given as the person who wrote it.

Thank you, I was wondering who the actual author was.

Thank you SOOOOOOOO much for posting this. I always get upset and depressed when the scale goes up after working out and eating right each day. Now I will remember that I'd have to eat an extra 3,500 calories to gain a pound.

Thankyou so much for posting this!! I weighed myself today and after another week of hard training and healthy living I've (apparently) lost no weight. What I have lost is inches and this post just confirmed that the scales are a sure-fire way of making you disheartened and miserable....so thanks...I'll be measuring in future :flowerforyou:

    bump! Great info!
  • I soooooooooo needed to read this today! When I stepped on the scale today I wanted to cry even though the pants I'm wearing today were tight in January and are about to fall off in March. Think I'll go home tonight and try on that skirt I've been wanting to get back into. :))
  • What an awesome article!!!!! I def needed to read this today. And, I am one of those possesed OCD scale people, partially becasue that is one thing I "think" I can control. But, I see now that although I can control what I eat the scael may not be something I can control. Thanks so much for shedding some lihgt on all of this for me.

    BUMP!!!
Thinking of weighing myself once a month, there is just too much fluctuation in daily weighing!
  • Thanks! Good Info!
