550lbs NO MORE EXCUSES!

Hi There!

My name is Andy, I am 550lbs. I started on MFP when I Was 440 over 2 years ago. I lasted about 9 months on here building community and local meetups and building great friendships with people before crashing and binging. I am at the point where I dont have a choice anymore. 550lbs is not a joke.

I am looking for more support. Accountability as it seems my entire friends list has "Last logged on over 14 months ago"

I am going harder than ever! Just re started my journey yesterday. I lost 90lbs last time in about 6 months and I hope to do the same again! Please friend request me and lets keep eachother accountable!

I'll be around for a while too, plus I'll be here for maintenance even after I've lost my weight.

You can absolutely do this, and I'll be here for every step of it if you need support. :D

We will do this!! Add me if you'd like too! I have a lot of weight to lose. I have set a goal of 125 lbs to lose first then I will tackle probably another 100 lbs. Slow and steady wins the race - right?

Fee; free to add me. I lost 100 lbs in 2012 but have put back on 46 of them. I'm trying to get jump-started again - to stay consistently on track, logging every day, get moving/ercising regularly, etc. I'd be very happy be MFP friends and help each other!

I'm back too after losing 35 pounds, and then gaining it back and more after I had my daughter. Welcome.
  • You can do this! Add me if you like. I don't have a lot of weight to lose, but I want to be on here for a long time, to stay on track and stay healthy!

You know that you can do this now that is a big plus for you.
Slip ups are inevitable. Just try to be as consistent as possible. Log EVERYTHING that goes into your mouth.
Get all of the support that you can get on MFP. Soon you will be right back on track.
Best of luck to you! You can, and will do this!
  • Just wanted to say hello to everyone, started around 600 pounds.

90 pounds in 6 months is awfully fast. You are living proof of what happens when we lose too fast. Slow it down this time. Take time to make this a lifestyle so you can lose the entire amount you'd like - and maintain.

    Best of luck!

Hey there! I started my journey on MFP about 3-4 years ago maybe. I've been up and down with my weight and neglected the site for a long time. But I've restarted my journey when I jumped on the scale one day and found out I was close to 400lbs! But I'm on here for good, so add me if you want! :)

HI Andy. :) My name is Sarah. I started my journey about 3 years ago and weighed 465 lbs at the time. I Know this can be done and I know you can do it. Starting with a great supportive friend base is wonderful. It sounds like you know the right things to do just remember on those days you feel like giving up or not logging in, remember how you felt yesterday. What made you log back into here. What made you decide it is time to do this. Never forget tht feeling and keep logging in. This site and my friends have helped me over the last 3 years overcome some huge obstacles. IF you are looking for support feel free to add me :)

Permanent life style change is my focus in this thing once and for all. My weight has gone down way too fast, way too quickly with no real success. Can't say I lost it because I always found it again, along with too many of it's tag-along friends too :( I'm looking for like-focused support so let's go!

Welcome! we'll be glad to help you to stick to your goals...

Remember, this is no horse race. Steady, firm steps, no matter how small, that's what counts.

Keep a positive attitude, keep the hope, and keep logging! you will reach your goals and more before you think.

Having watched your previous success, may I humbly suggest making this time round a slower, more sedate weight loss journey? You were seriously under eating last time and in the long run it did you no good. Please try to eat what mfp tells you this time and accept a slower, more sustainable loss.
