We do have a kitchen scale. It is like this one

It is not digital doesn't tare.
I know a digital one wouldn't be very expensive, but this is what I have for now.
Is this good enough for what I need?

It wont be quite as accurate and will be bit cumbersome not being able to tare - but will do the job reasonably well for the time being.
Certainly better than no scale at all.
Digital ones really are very cheap - mine was under $20 (australian) from Target or similar place.0 -
Thanks. That really isn't too expensive. I am sure I will end up buying one.
I don't like it (it seems flimsy) and doesn't have other features. My husband wants me to try it out first, before buying new.0 -

This one looks great, works very well (tare is a godsend and grams + ounces saves a ton of time converting).
