Hey there everyone. I'm D.L. Watson and it's time for a change. I went in to get weighed and I'm 398.1lbs! Time for a change.
I'm using myfitnesspal to track my progress on this low-carb lifestyle change my doctor has me on.
So anyways - here I am. My goal is to lose 100lbs.

Welcome!
I have found MFP easy to use and it works. It is not as hard as I first thought to track my food and exercise, and have found it great to know what I am putting in my mouth.
I have learned a lot - I encourage you to track EVERYTHING....you will learn a lot too!! Even on bad days, it is great to track it so you can look back on that day, ask yourself what you could have done better, think about alternative foods. When you start working out that 1 burger is the calorie equivalent to 2 homemade chicken and salad sandwiches for example, it makes you think twice about "wasting" your calorie intake for the day.
Good luck! That 100 lbs will be gone in no time0 -
Thanks for the encouragement! I've lost 11.7lbs in my first week. Tracking every little thing I eat and eating six times over the course of the day in smaller portions.0
