yoga, daily, at least 15 minutes in the am (a sun salutation sequences a few leg stretches) or a solid 40 minutes after a workout, especially jogging. it really really helps with not having next day aches and pains. but then again, my yoga is usually as long or longer than my "workout" itself, but i use it as a reward. if i run these three miles then...
i know you hear it everywhere all the time, but yoga is amazing :happy:0 -
I do yoga (favorites are cobra, child's pose etc) and general stretching like runners stretch, arm stretching. I do it after every workout0

I would say it depends on exactly what your goals are. Static stretches (stretching, then holding the stretch for 20-30 seconds) are very common after workouts, and very beneficial to overall fitness and flexibility. I personally stretch after every workout, both weight training and running.0

I spend about 15-20 minutes doing a combo of regular stretches and yoga, before working out and sometimes just by itself.0
