      I know this is really horrible...keep in mind I did this like 15 yrs ago...but I had started dating this guy who was very different from me, and I was just NOT that into him for a variety of reasons but didn't want to be straight with him for other reasons (MY immaturity being one)...but I told him I had realized I preferred girls.

      He was a lot more conservative than I was, and not the sort of guy who would be like "ooh that's hot", in fact some of his homophobic
      comments ticked me off well before that and would probably wouldn't have flown AT ALL with me even 2-3 years later on...

      I'm not even bi-curious. But it worked, and I was free of him! Yay! haha
