    So for a while now I've been meaning and wanting to do a "cleanse" ; only drinking hot tea and lemon water (just for a day). What are your thoughts on this?

    I know many squeaky colons, I can assure you they don't smell clean :sick:

    The only "cleanse" I would ever recommend to anyone is to stay hydrated and eat one of my stuffed sweet potatoes for dinner. That sucker has an entire day's worth of fiber in a single meal, and the poop aftermath is pretty epic.

    Other than that... no.

    Please share the recipe, lol

    Huh, I did a saltines & ginger ale cleanse for 3 days this week. Lost ~1.5 lbs.
    Didn't die (so few people do of stomach flu)
    ...and ready to get back into real life now.

    If you are trying to make balanced eating seem appealing, any restrictive diet or fast will do that. Broccoli sounds AWESOME today. Beyond that? Nah. No value, and it really doesn't matter what your beverage is. Assuming you also take in enough water to remain hydrated (single malt scotch alone for two days might indeed be a bad idea).

    Or, better yet, why not try hot tea and hot water with a dash of apple cider vinegar?
