3500+ Calories Burned Challenge 1/31 - 2/6

Wow it seems that everyone kicked it up a notch last week.

Here are the basics of the challenge. Anyone can join at any time. Set your own goal for the calories you want to burn for 1 week with a minimum of 3500 calories. Everyday post how many calories burned and how you burned them.


Here is the daily update format.


Weekly Goal:

    WOW.. You have lost so much already congrats!!! I will join your challenge... I think you are an inspiration!! My goal is to burn 4200 calories this week!!! Thats 600 a day... I said I would step it up in feb and I think this would be a great start!!

    Good idea. Until I saw this I really hadn't looked at how many calories I burned in a week.

    I'm going with 4500+ this week.

    I'm in - would've never pushed it this hard if not for this challenge.

    I'm gonna ratchet my goal up just slightly (always want to be improving).

    I am in again this week but I will decrease my goal from 4500 to 4000 this week. Last week I could not take a day off trying to meet my goal.

  • This is a great idea!! Im in!! I need some more mini challenges to help me take things up a notch. I lack in the consistency that I need. This will help!

    I'm in again this week! Stepping up from 3500 to 3800 (since last week I managed 3700). Me and my pudgey butt thank you for the added incentive to push myself a little harder every week!

    I want in... This will be my first challenge.. I just increased my calorie intake from 1200 to 1350, as I'm still feeling sluggish...Here's hoping this helps

    You all did great last week. Ruth, you really brought it. I'm going to put in my calories after my lunch hour run today. Hmmm, I'm going for 3,800 this week.

    Exams coming up so will be super busy, going for the minimum 3,500. :ohwell:

    Didn't hit my goal last week and son has a swim meet all next weekend so there will be no exercise on Saturday or Sunday so I've gotta lower my goal this week.

    Absolutely love this challenge and being motivated by everyone else. Bumping it up a couple notches this week too. Really pushing myself and see if I can burn 4500 calories this week.
