My favorite! But I just have mine plain... I first had it at a restaurant with spinach as a side. But I'd love to see some new ways to eat it!0

It's pronounced keen-wah, it's kinda like a grain/seed, but gets kinda fluffy when you cook it. Reminded me of couscous in a way. It is really good!what is it?? ive never heard of it!!0

If you Search under Recipes for 'quinoa' (here where you've posted this), you will find several recipes. Quinoa is de-lish... and you can really substitute it for rice in any dish, maybe even some couscous dishes (at least recipes I've tried). Yummy!0

I love making a Greek quinoa salad with it- quinoa, feta, kalamata olives, red onion, olive oil. Simple, healthy (don't go crazy on the feta, or use fat free too), delicious.0

Just found this recipe...at this link http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/161508-jillian-michaels-quinoa-granola?hl=quinoa#posts-2157630

Can't wait to try this... Someone said on the thread that whole flax seeds work better than ground! I'm glad I read that, because all I ahve here is ground (and probably would have tried it!!).
Thanks for your ideas!0 -

My husband makes it like rice - 2 to 1 ratio water to quinoa. Then we add whatever meat and veggies are in the fridge and it's dinner.0

I cook mine in chicken broth and then add some sauteed, diced veggies (onions, celery, mushrooms, carrots), some dried fruit (craisins or raisins) and some chopped toasted almonds. I love it and will eat it hot or cold. My kids hate it but they haven't hit the 20 time try something yet.0
