My husband will start a new job in Valentine's Day. So I will make a lovely dinner and we will stay in. I don't know what to cook yet... But I am looking forward to it. I love commemorative days!

Stay home and make a nice dinner for my husband and son! We don't go out for V-Day. There's too much hype. I'd rather go out for a random occassion!

Oh I so play on pigging out on Valentine's Day (dinner). I will exercise and eat healthy that morning and then when we go out to dinner I plan on getting maybe steak or pasta or maybe both and then a nice chocolatey/PB dessert. And I will not feel guilty. Then back on the wagon the next day. I already got my vday present too... a ring and matching necklace :) I bought him a "man cave sign", an all star game Lidstrom jersey and gift card for his new e-reader. This is our 2nd valentine's day together :)

Not sure. May go out to dinner. Just waiting to see what my daughter's work schedule is. Could be dinner for 2, 3 or 4.

Might make dinner at home. Jan's choice.

I have no idea. I'm taking my Mr. Man to get his present this weekend, a pair of roller blades.

Taking my daughter out for breakfast. The next week my single girl friends and I are going bowling or to Dave & Busters. This is my first year as a single in 10 years...not that my ex ever did anything special for Valentines Day anyways. :grumble:

The boyfriend and I usually make heart-shaped pancakes together. We're both college students so no presents! This year, I found a heart-shaped waffle maker, so we're going to do waffles instead. Our seven year anniversary is the 27th, so we'll probably do something then too.

Dinner with friends over the weekend to celebrate our 7th wedding anniversary and our friend's 30th birthday, and ON Valentines we have our first preconception appointment with the OB. :blushing: I'm just a little giddy about that! (Not preggers yet, just getting the ball rolling.)

It's our third valentine's day & we never make a big deal about it because my birthday is three days later lol.
This year he decided he wants to make up brinner (breakfast for dinnerr) & heart shaped pancakes lol. So I'm going to make him some chocolate covered strawberries because he looves strawberries & chocolate lol. Then we'll just watch a movie & sleep til I have to go home (:

My husband and I always celebrate Valentine's Day on February 15th. Candy and flowers are usually half off on that day and we get better service at the restaurant. We were planning on going out for Thai food but since we just did that yesterday we might go out for Indian instead. Or I was thinking about planning a pizza and a movie night for the two of us sometime soon so maybe we'll do that and have breakfast at Ihop. It will definitely not be a good diet day, though! :-)

Valentine's Day super sux when you have no special someone to share it with. I will be keeping busy that day trying not to think about how lonely I am. :brokenheart:

    I'll be ok. :flowerforyou:

My husband and I make a big deal about Valentine's Day for the kids...We decorate the house with pink paper hearts, bake cookies or cupcakes and spend the day telling each other how much we love them...When my husband gets home from work, he always brings me flowers and a surprise and the kids each get something they've wanted (like a movie or game) and we have a family dinner while watching the Charlie Brown Valentine's Day cartoon. (My husband's gift is of the X-rated variety and he gets that after the kids go to bed)

I haven't celebrated Valentine's Day since I was 19 and my girlfriend at the time went ballistic because—and I'm totally not exaggerating this at all—I didn't spend "a lot of money" on her. Boy, you can bet that most of our dates were dutch afterward ...

I've had girlfriends since then but always have made it clear that I don't and won't celebrate the day because I don't like the commercialism of it or a declared day that I should save up all of my attention and flirtations to give out then.

This year, however, I'm single and not too stoked on it, so I think it's going to be me and a bottle of booze next Monday.

I have work till 5 p.m. (maybe a surprise will arrive at the office from the boy??) Teaching Turbo Kick that evening so it's going to be a short and sweet day for us. We're celebrating out at Seasons 52 the night before - a restaurant where it's healthy and everything is 400 calories and under.

Celebrating 5 years of dating with the boyfriend! He told me the other day, "I made plans for us for Valentine's Day... so don't go making plans with any other guys!" Hahaha! So, I'm not sure what we're doing... but something, apparently! :)
