Erythritol vs Maltodextrin

Any opinions on Erythitol vs Maltodextrin...truvia sweetener uses erythitol and splenda uses maltodextrin...I read that maltodextri has a higher glycemic index and low car dieters should stay away from it...what are your feelings on this

Eeek i have no idea but i've been using aspartame sweetner (and i've heard really bad things about it)

Well I know that maltodextrin is the filler in granular splenda...that helps when making baked goods etc...I am just hearing it has a high GI and want to get opinions on this, because I make almond meal cookies and granular splenda is one of the ingredients.0
