Hi,
I've recently purchased a HRM and I leave it on throughout the day. It's the watch style. According to it, I am supposed to aim at burning 3500 calories per day. The first day I wore it I burnt over 5000 calories.
My question is, where do I enter all these calories? Am I supposed to? How?
Thanks for your help

well Mfp FIGUREs out your Base and w hen you told it if you were sedentary, active, etc that took care of the rest of them so at that point you just have to add in your exercise.0

I recently read that it is not accurate if you wear it as a daily calorie burn tracker. I was told it is used for tracking calories burned during exercising only.
Would like to know what others think.0 -
I don't think HRM are built to be worn all day to get a calorie count. A BodyBugg or Body Media is designed for that. HRM are meant to track HR and calories burned during exercise. The chances that you burned 5000 calories in a day are pretty slim unless you ran a marathon. It doesn't sound accurate to me.0
