Quinoa, Oatmeal & Flax Seed OATMEAL
Sorry...this is actually a GRANOLA recipe NOT an oatmeal!!!
1c oatmeal
1/4c flax seed (whole)
1/4c quinoa
1/4c walnuts
1/3c sliced almonds
6 tbsp chocolate chip (use the mini ones to spread out more)
2 tbsp maple syrup
2 tbsp olive oil
mix all together and spread on parchment paper.
Bake for 20-30 minutes at 375F
OH MY GOSH...it is AMAZING. To my calculations, it is about 150 for 1/4cup serving.
Serve it in 1/2 c of yogurt and it is MAJORLY filling!!!
BUT please keep my secret, my son doesn't know how healthy this is!!!
Enjoy!
