I started using MFP in January and joined the Y yesterday. I'm hoping this site will help me in my goal to gain strength and lose weight in the process.

Thanks. I'm hoping logging my foods will help me make better choices. I have tried weight watchers and many other plans in the past. I usually have a problem eating enough calories to keep my metabolism up. Then there are days like yesterday where we celebrated a grandson's birthday with pizza and cake. today is a new day though0
