Going over on Protein

I always seem to go over on my protein with calories yet to consume, is to much protein bad?? I go over in protein eating mostly chicken and turkey. Will to much protein slow weight loss?? Thanks for any input!

I can talk only about my experience. I am over on protein and under my calories every day and I still loose weight. So this works for me.0

You probably are over and still aren't eating enough
You really should consume 1g of protein per lb of lean bodyweight. 150 lb person with 20% bodyfat = 120g per day.
It is the part I hate most about MFP...... such a small requirement for protein will only leave you small and possibly even skinny fat when you lose all your muscle.0
