One month and only......

lost 6 pounds and half an inch. Kinda happy because I have been hoping to see the scale say a certain number (My mini goal is to get out of the 150s and I reached 150.2 today). But when I think about having been doing this for a month already makes me wish there was more of a change. I have two kids and am taking college classes so I work out at home when I can without my son attached to my leg and my daughter asking for ice cream (LOL). But I'm probably not working out enough. Maybe Ill join a gym that has free babysitting so I don't have that excuse.

6 lbs. is a fine and safe weight loss amount for a month's time. Considering your schedule and your personal life, too, you seem to be doing something right. Maybe look at other small things you can change in your life to help with the weight loss and a healthier you. More sleep, more water, portion size, healthier snacks, parking a little further away from the store so you have to walk farther, taking the stairs, etc. But again, you're making progress so great job and keep it up! ^_^0

It is hard to workout alot with kids and school and work, I feel ya, I go to a gym with daycare but sometimes even getting my son ready to go packing and getting myself ready is exhausting and at times makes u give yourself an excuse not to go all the time, but sometimes it is really nice:)...but on the days I dont feel like taking him to the daycare I try taking him to the park for my daily exercise...what I do is I will park very far and downhill from the park( our park just so happens to be going uphill, maybe u can find one around your area??) but anywho, I park about 6 blocks away from park and walk to the park...that way I get sum exercise and he stays a little calm knowing were heading to the park so he dosent even realize that Im getting my workout he just thinks were going on a little hike to the park, I get sum, He gets sum... You say you have 2 though so Im not sure if u have a 2 seat stroller or maybe a wagon, its a good exercise pulling kids:) maybe try that on the nice days every once in a while when you have the time...Goodluck, 6 Pounds lost is better then nothing lost or gaining so feel good you lost that much while being a good mommy at the same time:happy:0
