How much fat grams should I eat per day?? I want to lose weight!!

    I reset my food goals to be 50% carbs, 30% protein and 20% fat. It usually ends up being about 30-40 g of fat per day.

    When i was a member of tops they recommended not goin over 20 grams a day. So that's what I'd recommend... And yes, I've lost weight, 75 lbs and kept it off for over 2.5 years.

    Fat is good for you, for some reason it has a bad rap. A balanced diet should consist of 20-30% fat. Just make sure the sources of fat of healthy (nuts, seeds, olive oil, etc.) Assuming you are on a 1200 calorie diet you should get between 27 and 40 grams (more on days you workout)
