Hi everyone,
Just thought I'd post something as I need major help! I've lost 9lbs, I feel much fitter and slimmer but I'm started to get disheartened and need motivation to carry on! I keep staring at the work biscuit tin and want to gobble them all up!
Need some words of support to keep me going!
Can anyone help!!!?
xx

honey keep up the good work
think about how much better you feel already
then think about Benicassim, Bestival, Leeds, Cyprus and Glasto + tiny shorts = me wanting to lose weight and tone up! I want to feel amazing for this summer and now is the time to do something about it!
and think about how fantastic you'll feel when you've achieved your goal.0 -
You can do this!!! Just focus on the results you have been seein and how good you feel. I have gone several day without chocolate because I am wanting to seriously do this, and I had been having chocolate everyday..... If I can make myself do that, anyone can resist
You will feel better about yourself if you can just say no! After, when you can't take it back, is when the guilt will kick in.0 -
Feel free to add me, we'll support each other.
I work shift work where people are always bringing in tempting treats. In the past, I'd always indulge however I've
been able to resist the last few weeks and am so proud of myself and I can't help but smile when I walk right past.
We all have our week moments but we can't let that destroy our resolve to get healthy!
Cheers!

I agree with the above comments.
Not eating what we really crave - sweets/junk food - is not an easy task. Just keep reminding yourself how bad you will feel if you were to gain the pounds back and if you were to eat that piece of cake etc ...
Hang in there, we can do this.0 -
I can totally understand what your going through. I myself was suffering the same thing for the last couple of days. Totaly blew my calorie goals. But I had to remind myself why I was dieting.
For me it is literally Do or Die. If I continue down the road I was on I was looking into an early grave. Change from that path and I can soon start living the life that I have been standing on the sidelines of for all my life.
So stop take a minute and think of why you started on a new path and re-affirm your goals.
And on trick to stay out of the cookie tin at work is imagine that someone didn't wash their hands after using the bathroom and then touched all the cookies. If there is cake or pastries just imagine someone sneezed on them. Crude little mind trick but it can work really well if you picture it in enough detail.
Stay Strong

Just think of how satisfying it will be to reach summer and and for once, instead of feeling annoyed with yourself for not doing something about your weight just imagine how great it will feel to be confident to wear those beautiful summer clothes :-)

It is hard not to fall to the temptations of food! You have to try your best to remove all temptations from your life and make ppl aware of your weight loss goals in order to get that continued support. I have been doing the Daniel Fast since January and it has helped me learn some self control over what I put in my mouth and my portions. If I can kick anything that is not naturally gronw from the ground and live off of fruits, veggies, beans and water it can be done. Losing 6lbs in 2 weeks did the trick for me you just have to set your mind on your goals and find and alternate route so not to see those biscuits.
Decide. Commit. Succeed.
