HRM and Water

I seem to have lost the book to my Polar FT4......I was wondering if they can be used in water. Im starting water aerobics next week and was wondering if i can wear my HRM.

  I just got a Polar FT7 and it says that it can be used it water, you just need to wash the strap right after if the pool was highly chlorinated. Hope this helps

  You can double-check at www.polarusa.com to see if your model is waterproof, but I believe most Polars are. They probably have the instruction book on the website, too.
