    Hey Gang,
    So we had over 75 peeps that signed up to be apart of the challenge. But 32 people did not come back today to post their current and goal weights. I'm trying to send out emails to all of those folks to remind them to do so before I post the list, but MFP only let's me email 25 people per day. I guess that's to avoid spamming. So I have to wait until tomorrow to finish emails. But until then just know that your challenge has begun! Do your best this week, drink your water, eat less and move more! Log your calories and we'll see you next Thursday to weigh in! We are accountable to each other! Keep pluggin' away lets see if we can lose over 100lbs as a group in this first week! Good luck!

  • I already posted my current weight and my goal wieght, but will do it again
    CW:183 lbs
    GW for 3/14/11: 175lbs
    I want to lose 8 pounds by March 17.

    On a side note, today I snacked on cookies (chocolate chip cookies). They were so tempting just sitting on the plate while I was feeding my daughter, it was like they were saying "Eat Us". I'm hoping I can make better choices for the rest of the day.

    Thank you. I saw one other person on MFP (can't think of who) with a ticker from the site Wieght-loss-center.net and decided to create one for this challenge. They have other stuff too on that site, but I'm not interested in diet pills or whatever.
  • So I just weighed myself, just because. I'm currently sitting at 176.5 pounds. SO if it alright I would like to change my goal from 175 to 170 pounds.

    We are having a St. Patrick's Day party and this will help keep me motivated to look great for it:-) I weighed in on Thursday and my SW was 155.5. My goal for St. Pat's is 152.

    Hey everyone!

    So still waiting to see if the other dozen or so folks that haven't checked in might do so in the next 24 hours, if not I'm guessing they aren't gonna so we have to move on with out them! I've been sick this whole week so my exercise has been lacking, and I know any weight I'm losing has to be partially muscle mass because I'm not eating much, Oy. Here's to a fresh start this week! Healthy and sniffle free! :drinker:
  • I know it is only day 2 or 3 of the challenge, but I thought I would check in to see how everyone is doing. So far I'm doing alright, trying so hard not to give in with all the tempting food (junk food that is). My son fell asleep before we could go outside to build a snowman, that would have been fun, but there is always tomorrow after breakfast. Hope everyone is doing well.

    Ok, Folks, so I think Sunday afternoon is by far enough time to give everyone time to log in and post, so if you are missing from the list it's because you did not post a Current and Goal weight for the start of the challenge. It does not mean that I can't easily put you back on the list next week, just make sure you post in a reasonable amount of time to get on the list for the week. That said of the 91 members that have begun the challenge we are looking at losing a collective total of over 630 pounds as a group. Keep up that motivation people! We're all here for you!

  • I sort feel like we are on the Biggest Loser, although we aren't. I love the fact that you put up how much we need to lose as a group, that is motivating.
