I remembered that you mentioned that the recommended salt intake changed so I did a little research out of curiosity. I found that the suggested 1500 is for people over 51 and more specifically african americans with a high risk of hypertension. Although, they did change the suggested number for others...it is only lowered to 2300. This is a safe number for most and many should not be worried about as much as 2300. It's the fact that that is merely 1/3 of the average american's sodium intake. youch. I just thought I would let u know there is no need to get down about being over 1500. Eating clean, and limiting processed foods should take care of most any sodium concern. Youare doing an amazing job with it!

With some advice, my sodium goal is now 2000, which gives me 6/7 instead of 1/7. :laugh:
