I am 5' 2 and I am shooting for 130. However, I think I would be happy with 135 too. It has been a while since I have been either, and I think either would feel great!

I'm 4' 11" , 5' on a good day! :D I'm aiming for 130, I can fluctuate between 120-130, I tend to gain lots of muscle once I start lifting weights. Keep me posted on how it goes! :)

I'm also 5'1" and shotting for 125 but would be hapy with 130. I started at 168. This weight goal is where I was most comfortable and where I felt like I still had my curves...just healthy and toned.

Your goal weight should be where you are most confortable and healthiest.

im 5 foot 8 inches and my goal is 110. I am 10 lbs away! i can do it! i can do it!
  • 4'11", but closer to 5'. My doctor/nutritionist said that I could get as low as 95 (anything below that would be underweight), but would be best at 115-120. It also depends on your build. I would say for you a range between 120-130 would be best. :)

Im 5 '2.5-5 '3. My goal is 114,but I'll settle between 114-118. Once I get close its really how I look physically and how much muscle I have that will judge it for me.

First go here to find out what size body frame you have.

    http://www.healthstatus.com/calculate/fsz

Then go here, it will tell you the weight range for your height and frame size.

    http://www.healthchecksystems.com/heightweightchart.htm
    .

Frame size is important. It's why one person looks amazing 120 and another person looks too skinny, even if they the exact same height. I used these charts to determine my original goal weight, (I'm 5', medium frame) then adjusted my goal as I got closer depending on how I felt and looked. Hope this helps!

I'm just under 5'3 and aiming for 110. I'm very fine-boned, though, and know the healthy range for my height is 104-136, it just depends on your build.
  • I am 5"2 and my goal is 102! weighing in at 107-110 at the moment...it fluctuates :(

I'm aiming for 130 right now....
My mom is also 5'1" and rests at about 110, so eventually, I'd like to get there. But my ultimate goal is just to sit at healthy on a BMI scale.

I'm 5"1 I've got down to 122 but decided to go for 112 as I'm of a very petite build.
Why not set yourself a mid range weight and see how you feel once you get there.
  • Hi, im 5.1 / 5.2....
I started at 160lbs 1st jan, im down to 154 and have lost alot of inches with that, already down a dress size, my goal was 135, will keep an eye on that tho, as i only want to drop one more dress size, everyone body shape is different, i really dont want to be skinny! and at 135 thats what i will be!

5' 2" and aiming for a realistic 140! My coach/ nutritionist and I agreed that at my age (49) a "toned 10 stone" would be a reasonable goal. It's still on the high side according to the bmi scale, but I dont want to get too focussed on an arbitrary scale, I'll judge more by measurements, how clothes fit etc.

I am 5 feet/.5 inches and would like to be 130-140 (wherever I feel best). I have a large frame size.
  • I am 5'3 and shooting for 125. I spent most of my life at about 115 but I don't think that is realistic any longer. I am currently 135 and will take another look when I get to my goal of 125. I am amazed how differently my clothes fit after having lost the first 10 lbs. Pick a goal weight and assess as you close in on your goal.

Girl you are underweight already! Goal weight for someone who is 5'8" with a small frame is 126-139 so you are very, very underweight. That is unhealthy!

Ideal for 5'2" is around 118 -120 so I guess that would be a good number for me but I'm not focusing on the scale number anymore. Heavy weight lifting is the best thing for getting lean (when you are already at a healthy weight. I'm looking to drop my body fat percentage - not the numbers on the scale.)

It is impossible for women to "bulk up" when lifting heavy weights. We need mass amounts of calories, protein and testosterone. Our bodies weren't designed for it. What lifting heavy weights will do is increase your fat burning ability throughout the day. More muscle means more fat burning.
