So I have been logging in for 15 days now. unfortunately my weight is staying the same "/
Not sure what I need to do to get out of this plateau... Down 10 lbs, but has been 10lbs for the last 9 days.
Should I cut more calories? Do more cardio?
HELP PLEASE!

Oh & feel free to add me, if you want more friends or something :)

Do more strength training. And cut the stress. My favorites are Pilates and Yoga. I do each only once a week and it worked well for me. I built strength, increased flexibility, and decreased stress.
  • Oh & just real quick.. i didnt lose the 10lbs in 15 days.. I lost it in the first 5 weeks of dieting.. & then started logging in. Just clarification :)
  • Thanks I'll try that.. Ive been trying yoga, but cant seem to commit every week.

Good luck! If you don't like yoga because it's too slow, try Pilates. It's also a mind-body class that channels your energy inward which calms the mind. You will rarely break a sweat, but that doesn't mean it's not working. Give it 2 months at once a week. That's how long it took before I began to notice a real difference.

cardio is great but if you want to loose weight consistently you want to add some strength training to your routine...

I totally get you! I've been at it for the past two months - lost 10 lbs in the first couple weeks, and have barely got another 2 off in the past month. It's so frustrating when you plateau... Push through it and keep at it. I find intervals give my body a wake-up and ignite the weight loss. Good Luck!
  • Thanks guys!
I already do strength training, 3 times a week....
Maybe I will add in more reps/or different activities to bump it up.

so goals: Yoga/Pilates, & more strength training

& thank you jwucki! good luck to you too! hopefully you reach your goals :)
