Anyone have any chinese recipes that use beef or pork. My boyfriend is allergic to poultry and I am craving Chinese! Thanks in advance!

Here is a link to a WW Beef Broccoli Stir Fry that turns out well! You can add more veggies to it to change it up/add more vitamins & fiber too.

I make a simple "chinese" beef and broccoli....

It's just thinly cut steak, cooked in the pan, then I stir "fry" some broccoli in there with it, and add a little bit of teriayki sauce and soy sauce. You could serve it with rice or noodles (then it's more like a lo-mein).

The more broccoli, the better, I say (seriously, I LOVE broccoli).

I have been using this at weekends instead of takeaway, works with rice or egg noodles. my hubby loves it! I also add green or red peppers to give it a bit extra crunch

(site seems to be slow and can only get as far as the search page!)

You can use hot chili oil, I leave it out and replace with a little Terryaki. You can make this with ground beef or ground Turkey. I also add regular onion and more carrots and vegetables. Then at the end when it's in the lettuce i add chopped peanuts! I LOVE this and so does my husband!

We love lettuce wraps but they arent very filling. Wonder what would be good to make on the side!?

You can really make anything with an Asian flare if you include these ingredients:

    spring onion
    ginger
    garlic
    5 spice powder.

Almost every single dish in Chinese restaurants have the top three and just add soy sauce, dash of sugar, etc. If you are using beef or pork, I would season it with 5 spice powder, just dry rub it on the meat after you've sliced it up. Then heat a little bit of oil, saute the top three ingredients, throw in the beef, mix everything together, if you want a 'sticky sauce', 1/2 cup of water with 1 tsp of corn starch and throw it at the last minute and mix it up.

No matter what I have in the fridge, I will always have those top three things.

My source: Mom's a chef and we own a restaurant =)
