because you're probably exercising and adding to it, so it adds back in your exercise calories burned to ensure you don't have too big a deficit.

I have been told by several people that we need to eat those extra calories, but I've got to say that I have not lost a single pound in several weeks. Which in turn started me to binge eat at night.
  • Hi:
Worst thing to do is binge eat at night. Try to eat your exercise calories throughout the day or add extra calories to a meal. We all hit a plateau it will pass and you will see results again. Good luck:smile:
  • What if I don't eat those extra calories? Does that cause you to not lose the weight? I am exercising every day doing strickly cardio at the time.
  • Read the post by banks1850 - Newbies Please READ ME (2nd edition). THere are 3 URLs to read and they will answer your question. Basically - you have to eat your exercise calories so you don't go into starvation mode and NOT lose weight. A must read for everyone!
