That Im going to take the 'heat' off myself slightly and maybe try weighing in twice a month - the 1st and the 15th of each month and take measurments once a month on the 1st. I have a slight obsession with jumping on the scales so Im hoping this is going to help!!

Anyone else do this? x

Ditto. I have a habit of hopping on the scale constantly as well. You are not alone!

Feel free to join our group -- we are doing a Lenten scale diet starting on March 9 and ending on Easter sunday ...
Hopefully it will be a good way to break the scale addiction!

As long as you're not affected by daily weight fluctuations, I don't see anything wrong with daily clock-ins. I weigh daily just to see where I'm at and how I got there. But, if the numbers not going down get you down, then definitely wait longer between them.
  • That's a great idea - give up the scale for lent! :)
  • I just started last Saturday and I weighed myself then and this morning. When I finish weighing myself, I give the scale to my husband and he hides it. I know that if it were around, I would be obsessed with checking my weight.
