This thread is one in which a new fitness and dietary challenge is posted each week. We also post our weigh-in numbers for the week on Monday (when the challenges actually start). Lets keep this rolling!

Here are the challenges/format to post for this week: (ANY one can join in at ANY time!)

FITNESS CHALLENGE:
This week we are going to travel 20 miles through exercise (walking, jogging, elliptical, swimming, etc.)

DIETARY CHALLENGE:
We’re going to need to stay hydrated with all the traveling this week. So, the goal is to drink 80 ozs of water a day.

    Ok so what do I do if I don't have a treadmill, elliptical, etc... I watch kids at my house, and I have them until 6...Can I run in place for 48 minutes since I run a 12 min mile LOL??????

    I don't have any equipment either. Walking is great! That's my plan. Or, if you have a pedometer, you could track your steps chasing the kids, and then calculate how far you traveled. :bigsmile:

    Marybeth- You are doing your best and that's all that matters. 1.5 miles is a great start for the week. Keep up the good work!

    Well, I didnt plan it but Monday ended up being a rest day for me. I was tired! This morning I looked at my exercise log and realized I've worked out 9 days in a row. :noway: So, I guess it's a good thing I listened to my body and took that rest day. Im feeling good this morning so it's time to burn some calories and get some miles under my belt. :smile:
