If the bridge ices before the road and you haven't reached the bridge yet I suggest you focus on the road before you so that you can make it to the bridge safely. Once you reach the bridge for all you know the ice could have melted. In other words stop focusing on the goal after the goal. Your attention needs to be on defeating the right now goal so that when you come to the next goal you will understand how to use your experience from your previous goal (s). Don't let the ice (i.e. - next goal) take your focus from what needs to be defeated right now.
