Does anyone know if matzoh is good to snack on? By good, I mean healthy and I'd be OK eating it.

it's pretty much empty carbs - just like eating bread, but without the flavor. I grew up eating it for passover, and think it generally tastes like cardboard. I always gain weight for that week since I can only eat it with butter/sugar/cinnamon, almond butter/nutella or soaked in eggs and fried.
  • This Jewish girl says DONT EAT IT UNLESS YOU HAVE TO!!! LOL it taste like cardboard

    YEP!

I have seen whole wheat matzos, but I'd still have to schmear peanut butter on it.

You can eat whole wheat matzoh with peanut butter. That's a pretty good snack. Too much of the white matzoh and you'll be super constipated. (Also- no 4 cups of wine with it- the combo seems to cause mega bloat!)

oooh! I love it with butter and honey.... so yumm!!!!

But yeah, stick to one piece with a tbsp of either nutella or peanut butter. And yeah, the whole wheat kind is pretty healthy. I've seen it with like 3 grams or more of fiber, so it would be pretty good to snack on. I actually give it to my 2 year old bc he loves crackers.

Thanks. I like it plain, but I am going to look into trying the wheat one. I never tried it.
