Heart Rate Monitor..how accurate is it??

Hi I just bought a MIO Drive SE HRM and was wondering if any of u have the same one and if its accurate?? I was walking while carrying my baby today for 50 minutes and it said I burnt 389 calories.. need feedbacks pls.. thanks!

    I don't know about that particular HRM, but as a general concept HR can be a pretty good indicator of calories burned, if you take into account your weight, age, gender (and ideally your VO2max) ... if your HRM tracks your average HR over the session, there's an online calculator you might use to compare the number the HRM is calculating, at http://www.braydenwm.com/calburn.htm.
