7 Day Calorie Burn Challenge!!

I didn't see collettemrk post a 7 day calorie burn challenge, so I am going to take the lead this week
This week is a 10,000 Calorie burn challenge. (You can put up your own number but make sure it something you'll have a tough time reaching otherwise it's really not a challenge now is it?)
The formats the same so good luck & be safe!!
My Weekly Goal: 10,000 calories
Wed: calories burned (how they were burned)
Thur:calories burned (how they were burned)
Fri: calories burned (how they were burned)
Sat:calories burned (how they were burned)
Sun:calories burned (how they were burned)

I'm completely up for this! Although, I am definitely not as daring as you with your goal.
My goal will be 5,000 calories.

That is an average of 1428.57calories per day!
That means you would have to eat at least 2628.57 calories to prevent yourself from going in to starvation mode if a woman and you would have to consume 3228.57 calories for a man to prevent starvation mode.
Make sure you are taking in the calories to go with your calories burned goal for your own health. Also, I recommend talking to physician and making sure your body can handle the stress.

I would really like to do this. So next Wednesday we post our totals? I think I'll try to reach 2,600 calories burnt this week, I'm new at this working out thing!

Okay, I'm in. But, I don't think I can do 10,000 calories....I just don't have enough time in the day! Um...I normally burn about 300 calories a day....so let's set it at 2100 calories for me. If that's not enough, just tell me so....I can push myself to do more...I think :P Here's my stats so far for the week:
Monday: 0 (no exercise)
Tuesday: 165 (walking for 45 minutes)
Wednesday: 305 (running/walking for 30 minutes, strength training for 20)

calorie burn question for you all: Do you believe that you burn twice as much on the elliptical as aerobic dancing? I don't, but that's what the database shows. I'm thinking the manufacturer came up with some impressive numbers to boost sales, myself. I got
winded, and more sweaty during zumba than I ever have been with elliptical. Curious about your reactions out there!0 -

I don't know about calories, but I do sweat WAY more when I do Zumba on my Wii, and feel it in more parts of my body, than I do on the elliptical.0 -
