Ugh! Does anyone else have this problem? It seems like I am going over on my carbs nearly everyday. My highest carb foods seem to be the fruits and veggies. Any ideas/suggestions on lower carb fruits and/or veggies?

i don't really care what my carbs are... just as long as i'm under (or pretty close) to my calorie goal.

I have my good days & my bad days with carbs. I haven't stressed over them yet. Which fruits & veggies are you mostly eating now?

If you go over on carbs, fruits and veggies are OK by me. You don't want to over do added sugars, starches, and processed foods according to a dietician. Have you tried the Sara Lee DeLightful bread? It is pretty good, low cal and low carb, but high fiber so it fills you up. Good luck with your finess journey.

Carbohydrates can be either simple (nicknamed "bad") or complex (nicknamed "good") based on their chemical makeup and what your body does with them. Complex carbohydrates, like whole grains and legumes, contain longer chains of sugar molecules; these usually take more time for the body to break down and use. This, in turn, provides you with a more even amount of energy...Simple carbohydrates are composed of simple-to-digest, basic sugars with little real value for your body. The higher in sugar and lower in fiber, the worse the carbohydrate is for you — remember those leading indicators when trying to figure out if a carbohydrate is good or bad.

Carbs and carbs alone, not fat, increase body weight. It doesn't matter whether the carbs are from sugar, fruit, or vegetables.. They’re all rapidly digested and quickly converted to blood glucose. But the body can store only a limited amount of glycogen, so the excess glucose is stored as body fat...
