carb help?

So I've been really reading into the info I get from this site and another, and my diet seems to get too many carbs.... :( Any recipes or tips for lowering the carb intake?

My day goes something like this:
Everything bagel thin- 110 calories
Fat free cream cheese- 30 calories
Snakc: 2 oranges (mornign and afternoon) 50 calories each
Lunch: 2 cups raw broccoli- 60 calories
and 1 tbsp fat free ranch 15 calories

total 315 calories
and I'm almost over my carb limit (only 2 left).... and I haven't even had dinner yet... or any protein to speak of....

help! :(

    yea your carb goal sounds waaayyyy too low if you are already over and eating just that

    thats what I thought... the limit from this website says 65....

    If that's what you are eating up until dinner you should be eating more anyways which will then allow your percentage of carbs to be greater. You should be eating at least 1200 calories so you can get proper nutrition. If you're getting carbs from whole grains and fruits I wouldn't worry too much but from what you've listed it seems your carb limit is REALLY low.

    Go to My Home, the go to Goals, and then there is a green button to change goals. You probably projected to loose more per week than you really should. Mine for instance is a goal of 1 lb per week. i put in 6 workouts 45 min. long and have that I am sedentary (only because I'm at a computer for my job) and this gave me a daily calorie allowance of 1330 and 183 grams of carbs. Hope that gives you an idea and you can figure it out so you can get some carbs back! lol

    I'm not going to touch on any of the other things wrong with your diet so far. But, if you want to lose the carbs, get rid of the bagel. Anything from the bakery is out. Anything with grain is out. Switch the bagel for eggs, or just egg whites if you want to keep fat down.

    Oops, I forgot. Get rid of the oranges. There's sugar in them too. Like I said, I'm not going to get into other details, so answering your exact question: no bagel, no oranges.

    I agree with getting rid of the bagel or switching to a something whole grain. Oranges are good for you. Just because they have sugar doesn't mean you shouldn't eat them. It's natural sugar. I can see where the question is being asked to reduce carbs but getting rid of nutritious food from your diet to do so, isn't the best idea.
