I'd like to join this. How about October startup?
I have a book I read recently that I really liked. It was a romance, kinda. It also was about a women coming into her own and losing weight. And running a triathalon. Not sure if it is appropriate for what is intended here. The name was Pretty Woman.
Steven King rocks!

'How does one become a butterfly?, she asked. 'You must want to fly so much that you are willing to give up being a caterpillar.'0 -
Sounds interesting. I don't think they have set a theme or said that it had to be a particular type of book.0

Okay guys.
I will get off my butt TONIGHT and do this.
I will start by choosing the book to be read for October, which is right around the corner.
I WILL do this tonight.
I will NOT allow myself to post until it is taken care of.
There. My word.
Tonight I will post a new thread with MFP's Book Club book for October.
(Thanks for the ever so gentle kick in the rear guys!!:flowerforyou: )0 -

How about Stephen King's "Thinner"?
The movie is absolutely disgusting, but the book was good.
I might join in, haven't had much time to read leisurely lately though.0
