I've been using MFP for nearly a year. I joined this site on 5/10/10. So far I've lost 95.8 pounds.
This is my before pic taken on 4/4/10. I weighed about 297 lbs.

This one if from 7/27/10. I weighed 255.2 lbs at that point.

And this final picture is from today. I've lost 95.8 lbs and am down to 201.2.

My journey hasn't been easy and there's been times that I've wanted to quit but I have to do it for myself as well as my family. I never want to go back to weighing 300 lbs again. My highest weight was 305 when I was pregnant with my daughter.
I haven't had any sort of weight loss surgery or done any fad dieting. I'm eating healthy and exercising regularly. And I don't feel like I'm missing out on the foods I love most days because I love the challenge of making healthier versions of them.
By this time next year I want to have reached my goal weight of 130 lbs or be really close to it. And I want to weigh less than 200 in the next week or 2.

Thank youI briefly considered it because of the medical problems I had but I decided it was the best choice for me to do it the "old fashioned way". I had c-sections when I had both my kids and I didn't want to be cut into again. I understand that these procedures have their place but I wanted to do it on my own.

Yeah I do feel pretty good now. Much better than what I did. And the scale isn't the only way I measure my progress. I'm doing fitness classes now (something I've never done before if you don't count gym class). There are so many physical things I can do now that I've never been able to do before.0 -
Congratulations:} That's an awesome accomplishment!0
