My workout dvds for sure -
    Biggest Loser Power Walk
    Biggest Loser Cardio Max
Leslie Sansone Walk at home 5 miles (my new ♥)

Thought about getting a gym membership but that's a little pricey for a family of 5.

I have a yoga mat, 3 lb weights, a gymboss interval timer from bodyrock.tv, and Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred/Burn Fat Boost Metabolism DVD's. I also watch Zuzana's fitness YouTube page (charliejames1975) and all these are under $20 individually (last one is free lol)

    Favorite / cheap workouts?

Well one thing I do is a lot of fast walking around a lake near my neighborhood. It's about a half-mile away and 1.8 miles around. I try to get a couple laps a day 2-3 times a week and four laps on Saturday. I used to walk around 3.0 mph when I started but am up to about 4.3-4.5 mph now. It's a gradual process building up to it, so you have to be patient. The one drawback is it takes a fair amount of time. Saturdy's walk (8 miles) takes almost two hours.

Another thing I have is a free gym at work. It has machines, so I lift weights 3 times a week/do cardio 5 times a week. On the cardio, I use the treadmill at 4.6 mph starting at incline level 7 and it goes up to 15 (max) during the week. On lift days, I do it for 35 minutes. On non-lft days, I do 50 minutes.

I don't know what you have available, but this has worked fabulously for me.

Decent 'walking' shoes. I have multiple pairs in plain colors - black, brown, and gray - so I can wear them to the office without looking obviously under-dressed (dress code says 'no sneakers'). Wearing them as part of my everyday footwear means I can take off for a quick jaunt around our campus without having to change shoes. I was surprised at how often I thought "Walk!" but was deterred by "Oh, grumble, I have to untie these shoes, put them in my bag, take out those shoes, get them on, lace them up..." LOL I removed my one & only excuse... and I walk about a mile, 4 days out of 5, workload permitting.

I've lost about 15 lbs since mid-January, and I am no longer huffing & puffing to finish a mile in 15 minutes.

YOU TUBE.... I get all my workouts from there.
Why spend the money on a dvd when I can watch it on there for free

30DS, p90x, ab ripper x, turbo jam , boot camp, etc..
plus I like to do the home workouts ppl post. anyone who is brave enough to post their own workout on the internet gets my vote , so I do it too.
    I just spent 100 on a HRM.
Ive had my elliptical for 5 years and my 4 side weight system. ( but they total close to 8000 dollars)

A cheap pedometer from walmart to keep my speed tracked, and my neighborhood. I drove my car over the route I take, it is 6km total. Oh, and my mp3 player loaded with all sort of (FREE) music and motivational programs (mostly Tony Robins).
I also got 30 day shred on Amazon for $10.

Now, I must admit, I got a great gift at Christmas. My Husband got me a treadmill which he found on sale for $599 from $1200.
This was because I really could not walk outside in the winter at 20 or 30 degrees below zero. I usually throw in the towel at -10.

But, my free outdoor walk is always better than the treadmill- fresh air, varying terrain etc..
