This place is free and has a fair number of decent ideas. Otherwise, what I usually do is Google my question, and I can usually find a decent resource that's free. You're in college, so you should be starting to evaluate the reliability of sources. Just remember to evaluate each source and decide whether you are getting good info. Finally, your school health office may have some resources.

I didn't even think about my school health office, but I'll definitely check it out once I'm back from Spring Break! Thanks for the tip.

Well, a great way to save money on things like fruits and veggies, chicken, fish, etc is to shop the online sale papers of all the grocery stores that are near you. Make a list of the lowest sale price on each item you would like to buy and note the store where it is on sale. Then take your list to your Walmart Superstore & when you get to the register, tell them you have a price match on those items. They will give them to you at the price you tell them (they usually have all the other stores sales papers at each register).
I save tons of money and lots of time shopping this way. Try to stick to the items that are on sale that week and plan your menu around that. Also, little things like buying whole eggs and separating the whites yourself instead of buying the egg beaters or whites only and clipping coupons will also save you money. Good luck!

fiber plus bars or fiber one bars are great and filling! I'm 19 and live on my own. Chicken is great. Salads with vegis. canned vegis, beans, soups.

I had no idea what the price match thing at WalMart was.. I'm glad I found that out, because where I live there are about 30 grocery store chains! I already eat Fiber Plus bars and I love them!

do you have a kitchen? If so the trick is really to cook for yourself. There was so much junk when I was in college, everywhere, it wasn't until I got an apartment that I could finally eat healthier. Get more fruits and veggies, and eat lean meats :)

Also, if you have at least a microwave, you can microwave certain veggies. Just avoid fried, buttery, and creamy things.

what kind of sites are you looking for? i'm a bit confused because info provided on exercise/recipe/other websites is free and wouldn't impact your budget. if you're referring to exercise dvds, i'd recommend checking out your school library. they will prob have lots of exercise videos. while in grad school, i really got into bollywood movies, and found out that my library had almost 1,000 of them! so i imagine your library would have a wide range of exercise dvds. if you have cable tv, there are also free exercise workouts through OnDemand.

if you're referring to workout gear, i recommend dumbbells or kettleballs, a jump rope, and interval timer. those are relatively inexpensive.

hope you find some great resources! :)

I'm looking for just about anything (food, workout clothes, recipes, etc.) that can fit my budget.. and yes I do have a kitchen. I cook a little bit, but its mostly hamburger helper and pasta. I want things to cook with chicken, since I can buy breasts in bags of about 25 or so. I just don't know how to cook some things and I would like a site that can just give me some suggestions.
