numb toes on the elliptical anyone?

i know others have posted about this but right now i'm feeling a little lazy and dont want to look it up. why do the toes on your feet go numb while on the elliptical?

I have no idea but I would also like to know! This has happened to me for years, every time I use the elliptical. I've tried many different kinds of shoes and none have them have stopped the tingles...0

It's because your feet don't move. It's like standing in a line- your feet start going numb... same thing Just wiggle your feet or go backwards for a few0

I'm so glad I'm not the only one with this issue! I try to alleviate numb toes by placing my weight on the balls of my feet and wiggling my toes in my shoes. That seems to help at least a little bit.0

Make sure that you aren't flatfooted on the machine while using it. Your feet should bend like you're walking or running, at the ball of the foot. It's OK for your heel to come up a little.
