    Good morning! I weighed in this morning and am excited to see myself making my way to my goal!

    Started Jan. 2--174 pounds

    Current Jan. 15--168 pounds

    Goal Feb. 14--159 pounds

    So, 6 pounds down, and 9 more to go! I can do it!!!!

    Well week two now, and my scale has still not moved... Very frustrating. BUT !!! Did do my measurements this morning, and seem to be down three and a half inches. Ok, so I know muscle weighs more that fat, BUT does fat have more mass than muscle....????

    Yes i agree! It would be good if we could delete the old ones! :happy:

    Well done on your weight loss!! Thats really excellent, and more than a third of the way!! :drinker:

    Dawn, don't worry! Thats excellent that you have lost 3 and a half inches!! Muscle weighs more than fat but it is leaner!! For instance 2 people could be the same height and weight but one person could be a couple of sizes smaller just because they exercised and the other person didn't!!

    Weighed yesterday and lost 11 lbs. Only 5 more pounds to my goal.

    I started the challenge on the 8th. I was 257 lbs. I am now 253 lbs. Yeah, I can definitely reach my goal of 150 lbs. by valentines day!

    I am very happy considering I am still logging and exercising. I didn't eat great this week but I love the fact that I am accountable to the site and this challenge. The goal is still very reachable!

    I am somewhat disappointed over the fact that I haven't lost any weight this week. HOWEVER, my silver lining is that my stomach is quite abit flatter and less pudgy. The last couple of days I've had to look twice in the mirror there has been such a difference. Losing inches is always better than the number on the scale anyway.

    Another tough week, as I approached scales nervously again,
    scared the effort hadn't born results .........

    am I the only one terrified before they weigh ?..........laugh

    I am sooooo scared on my friday morning weigh in! :laugh:

    I just know from last time i lost weight that if it does not produce the results i want/expect then i am in a foul mood all day long!! :laugh:

    It hasn't happened yet thank God! :wink:

    Hi all ..........you are all going great guns........keep the faith you will make it....My overall challenge is a pound a week for 40 weeks


    Start 01/06/08---192 lbs

    wk1 - 01/14/08---189 lbs (3 loss)

    wk2 - 01/21/08---186 lbs (3 loss)

    Ive met my initial goal of 1lb a week for 5 weeks till valentines

    So im sticking to my pound a week challenge and if the gods are with me and the calories ha ha ill be another 3lbs lighter by then....
