I started this journey (without MFP) on Sept 8th 2010. I knew then that this time I was serious!! Since then I have lost 28lbs, quickly approaching my 30 mark.
I, in the last 10 days or so, have noticed so many changes in my body!
I can flex now and see a bicep
I can lay flat on my bed and my stomach is flat
My thigh muscles are showing now, instead of just having round legs
My face is thinner
My shoulder and collar bone are thinner
My trouble zones are getting smaller
I can almost get my whole body under water in the bathtub
I shrunk out of all my underwear and had to buy new
My shirts all look like they were worn by a pregnant woman.....all stretched in tummy
I am so glad I have become able to notice even the small things that are changing on my body. It is really hard not to get discouraged along the way when there may be stalls in progress, stalls on the scale, high cal days, etc. but in the end. We all have a goal. I started in Sept wanting to lose 20lbs and stay out of the 200s. Now here I am approaching 30lbs and anticipating going further. I am so glad I found MFP and all the friends I have gained. I just wish I had known about it sooner. I might have been at the 30 sooner!!

I'm at the 26+ weight loss and have seen a lot of differences too, but there are some that you have mentioned that IL'm not there yet, so there is hope...
