It depends how much i work out and eat. Today i have almost 300 left, but i only exercised for 30 minutes.
On days i burn off 900calories, i usually have 500 or more left.
Check under your setting, daily or weekly goals, it will tell you there what they think your goal should be0 -

Is it OK to join this challenge now after a week? I am struggling with keeping myself within recommended calories.0

wow I wanted to join but for some reason I am now very confused by what the Cal Deficit means....... In my goals it says I should have a deficit of 800 cals. but I am consuming just under 1100... how do I work out the deficit?????

Hi! Alright, when yoy get up everything's a zero. When you start adding food you calories go up & so does your NET. The more food you loog the higher it will get. You have to excercise to get it down. The more you exvercise the more it will go down.
Make sure you stay ver 1200 calories.but under your NET0 -
Happy Friday! Ended the day with 67 calories. Not bad considering A) It's the weekend. I didn't exercise C) My Net Goal is only 1200--which doesn't give me much to work with when I don't work out. Have a great weekend. And here's to fun & moderation. :drinker:0

P.S.-Just looked at my calorie report for the last 30 days. While I'm not where I want to be in a perfect world, I've had fewer upward spikes since starting this accountability process. It really makes me think twice before going for that extra helping or snack. Thanks to you all! I know we don't even know each other, but you are helping! (P.S.-feel free to friend me if you want that xtra connection.) :-)0

384 over today- did really well until tonight, when we had a trivia fundraiser and my mom won a silent auction cake from my favorite baker. Passed up cake yesterday, so my inner frosting fiend must've escaped! Will do better tomorrow.
From a previous post question- I've got my goals set to lose 1.5 pounds a week, so MFP has me at 1300 calories a day. I usually exercise 6 days a week, and am often about 200 or so below that, except for my splurge day each week....

yesterday I went a lot over my calorie goal, but I don't care! I was at my boyfriends and we were having a nice dinner (he made it!!), drinking wine, watching movies, dancing a bit and so.. I considere yesterday as my day off.. I'm now full of strenght and happines and gonna do so good:)0

Lost 3 pounds last week! Going to post early today, because my last 4 Sundays, I've been WAY over on calories..... Maybe reminding myself I'll need to post here will help me keep calories in mind while I'm eating today..... Have a great day, everyone!0

650 over today, but since I've got MFP set to lose 1.5 pounds a week, and they "subtract" 700 a day for me to do that, I shouldn't go up just cause of today. Plus, the last three Sundays, I've been 1500 to 3500 calories over, so I'm taking today as a good day! Will bust a move tomorrow to keep on losing! Have a great week, everyone!0

Sunday---Over by 178 calories. As I said last week. Sundays are my worst. Weird...I know. I just get so bored that I start snacking waaaay to early. :-( By The Way...Not a trend I want to continue!!!0

Your net shouldn't go below your BMR because that then puts your body in survival mode. I set my net to slightly above what the BMR calculator told me mine was. Last week I was about 120-121 pounds, at this mornings weigh in, I was 118 even and then after my stationary bike ride and losing some water weight, I was 116.4. Obviously the calories change each day depending on how many you burn. Mine have been around 1880 as I burn about 600 between my two work outs which puts me at my net of about 1250. I come in a little under which I'm trying to work on because I don't want my body to feel as though it needs to hold onto any fat I've got because I'm not feeding it enough. I may up my goal to 1300 so that I don't go below my BMR number. I love watching my daily caloric intake amount go up after putting in my exercise =]0

Monday- 682 under- had bootcamp class today and wasn't hungry, so that helped.... Just made up for my over-eating yesterday! Yes, for me it's much easier to eat better on weekdays- so buys at work that I don't have much time to eat!0

hey guys not to be a super downer but to be under your 1200 calories actually makes the body go into fat store mode rather then fat burn mode!0
