So I am leaving for a mission trip to Haiti and in that heat (100+ degrees) there will be no exercising because we are already gonna have long days and short nights (but will be doing a lot of walking) Meals are out of my control too so does anyone have any suggestions I don't want to gain weight the week that I am down there Thanks all of u keep me motivated and strong:)

Well, I went on a mission trip to the dominican republic in high school and it seems like all we did was walk! If its anything the same I wouldn't worry about it too much. Just remember portion sizes. Like keep rice to a handful and meat the size of your fist, that kind of stuff because I'm sure you won't have measuring cups there. Writing everything down could be a good idea. Just remember what your goal is and I don't think you'll have a problem keeping it under control.
  • Thank u I really like the idea of using my hands for measuring Thanks everyone for the advice
