    Looks fine.. But you're running already arent you? If you are, you could probably take it faster, and you dont necessarily have to walk on the between days. You can do anything really..

    The couch to 5K plan seems to be the most popular. I did it last year. Now I try to run at least a 5K every week. :happy:

    I used it to train C25K and it was brilliant and definitely worked.

    If you find it too difficult, slow down your pace.

    If it is way too hard, just repeat the week again.

    You could also check-out Hal Higdon--here is a link to the beginner 5K training schedule: http://www.halhigdon.com/5K Training/5-Knovice.htm *He's also got more advanced schedules if you are already in pretty good shape/run already.

    In any case, now you at least have several options for comparison!

    I agree. There is no reason to have so many "walk" days.

    One thing of note: in talking with a friend who runs marathons, he said that it IS important to take rest days and above all only try to improve a little bit at a time. If you are striving to always push beyond your limits you will fatigue your body, and your body will rebel. According to this experiencd friend, you can only increase by about 10 percent each week.
