Ok everybody...I am sooooooo happy to have such a wonderful response to this little 12 Weeks Till Summer Challenge!!
I have gotten everybody (who has posted up to this point) on my nice little chart (I haven't posted it yet though). :happy:
Each Thursday you will post your current weight. I ask that you include your weight from the previous weeks as well. I find that it makes it easier for you to see your own progress what it is right in front of your face each time you post. :noway:
The easiest way to post your info is to quote a comment that you previously made. Here's how:
1) Just find the last weigh-in comment that you made
2) Click on the "Quote" button on the bottom right of that comment
3) You will be redirected to a reply box where you can type in new info
4) Delete the "[ quote ]" and "[ /quote ]" that you see at the beginning and ending of the text
5) Type in your weight for the current week
6) Hit "Post Reply" in the lovely green box
7) You're all done!
We will be doing weigh-ins each week on Thursdays to check our progress. On Thursday evenings I will post an updated chart (like the one on the previous page) that shows our updated stats. I'll even highlight our biggest losers of the week. :bigsmile: Please feel free to post thoughts, ideas, motivation tips or anything else that you find important during this little journey to the lighter side. I'll even post a Question of the Day that you are welcome to respond to. I'm not going to twist your arm to participate in discussion...you are welcome to post just your updated stats each week and forget about this post between weigh-ins. :laugh:

I will be finishing my last day of INSANITY on Wednesday the 16th. I will be starting TurboFire on Thursday and I will be using that as my workout until the end of the challenge. I am hoping to see good results.0 -

Very careful calorie counting, little to no processed foods, and a whole lot of walking/P90X/Zumba!! :laugh:0 -

Plan to simply get up and move through out the day, no eating close to bedtime, and smaller portions throughout the day.

As much as I hate it, Im upping my water. i usually struggle to get 6-8 down & today i did 16! My eyeballs are floating BTW. Ans Im going to see what happens if I dont eat all my exercise calories0 -

To meet my goal, I am going to cut my daily calories, I am going to work out harder and I am going to try to snack less. I WILL DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!0 -

Ok, I've got all memebers up to this point added to my little list. As of right now we have 66 members!! Once I post the newest chart on Thursday I highly encourage you to find a buddy with a goal similar to yours to keep tabs on during our journey. It is always nice to have a friend that is going through the same thing and has similar goals.
For instance...
I'm a shorty, only 5'2 and I'm looking to lose 17 lbs in 12 weeks (about 1.4 lbs a week). I have a medium frame and I tend to gain weight mostly in my midsection. It is easy for me to tone up my arms an legs (and my super flat..ick...behind) but it seems next to impossible to get rid of the stubborn belly fat. Being short means my weight doesn't always melt off super fast, but when it does come off it tends to make a pretty good impact (since it is so compacted around my middle).
What kind of buddy are your looking for?0 -

I can't wait to see the new list and find a buddy. I'm about the same as you though. I'm exactly 5 ft. tall. I'm looking to lose 15 lbs. in 12 weeks. My frame is somewhere in between petite and medium. (I feel like I'm odd shaped.) I seem to gain weight mostly in my mid-section as well. I have a thyroid problem so losing weight is a little harder for me. I've been on my weight loss journey since Feb 19th & so far, I have only lost 6 lbs. So, anybody that needs a buddy and has similar goals, friend & msg me!0 -

i would like to join you if you don't mind. i could use all the motivation i can get. my biggest problem is always forgetting to eat good foods and get my daily exercise in. all my friends are super skinny so i'm the heavier one so not much motivation there even though they are super supportiive but its hard to care what they say when they are alot smaller then me.

I'm also a teacher so I am definitely in...I would love to be smaller by summer... This summer I plan to work out twice a day and really focus on toning sooo here goes... I normally lose 1.5 pounds in a week...I am super excited!!!
